Every innovation is met with skepticism. It’s natural to question the efficacy of rat birth control in the face of bold claims.
Illustrating the long-term impact of rat birth control

Poison is an effective tool for quickly knocking down the rodent population but the results are often short-lived due to the “rebound effect.” Rodents learn that the bait is lethal and begin to avoid it. Professional pest managers frequently rotate the type of bait used to combat this problem, resulting in large fluctuations in the population.
In contrast, rat birth control is non lethal. Rodents will continue to consume it consistently without fear of dying. The bait is also much tastier than regular rat poison, meaning they will choose to eat it over most other food sources. Both of these factors create a perfect climate for long term population control.
Lab studies

“Laboratory rats produced zero pups…”
Dr. Loretta Mayer, Inventor of rat birth control
TOM – we need some info here on how they cut up the rats and checked their junk. We can link to this: https://www.wildlifefertilitycontrol.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/The-efficacy-of-ContraPest-a-contraceptive-bait-for-the-management-of-wild-rats-Rattus-norvegicus-and-Rattus-rattus-Brandy-Pyzyna.pdf
Field studies
TOM – we need info here about field trials. What has been published? I’d like to link back. I think RATS has something on their site about the Queen Anne study?
